First Family Roadtrip

I have to say that moving across the county with a twenty month old was not something I was looking forward to. Over 35 hours in a moving truck with three people isn't what I call luxury travel. I was really worried how it would all work out. I kept wondering if the car was still attached to the truck. In the end, we made it over 2000 miles alive and well. I am not saying it was fun or easy, but I don't think it could have been any better. Miriam did so well considering being stuck in carseat for 3 days. We definitely prefer flying as our way to travel. I can't end this post without some pictures of our adventure.

Ready to go, bright and early.

Welcome to Ohio (where I grew up). One of the 12 states we passed through.

Twenty Months

Miriam is twenty months old. She is turning into such a fun little toddler. Miriam's vocabulary grows every day. She loves to go to nursery and loves making friends with everyone she meets. We took these pictures of her a couple of hours before she broke her teeth.

Poor Miriam

Miriam fell today while she was running around with her cousins. She took a second to cry so I didn't think it was too bad. However, once I picked her up and examined her mouth, I found a fat lip and 2 chipped teeth.

I feel so sad for her, but she doesn't seem too bothered by it. We will be heading to the dentist very soon.

running through the sprinkler

Miriam has never put on a bathing suit for the purpose of getting wet... until now. She got to run through the sprinkler this week at my aunt's house. Laura took her through so I could snap some pictures. However, now I know Miriam isn't a big fan. The pictures say it all. (i am not sure if the crazy wind had anything to do with it.)

So, instead of playing in the water with the other kids Miriam spent the rest of the time playing in the playhouse and riding a tricycle. We will have to try water fun again next year.

July Picture Gallery

I took a lot of cute pictures of Miriam in July. I have been debating whether or not I should share more since I have already posted a bunch. Well, they are just too cute to pass up (plus this is my blog, right?), so here you are... pictures of Miriam!
