Easter Eggs

Today we colored Easter eggs with Miriam. She has such an artistic brain and really enjoyed the whole process. She started by mixing the colors with Michael. She was into coloring the eggs so much that I could barely get her to look up for any pictures. She wanted most of her eggs to be pink, such a girl! She even shared an egg with Simon.

Our little Simon is one week old today. Here is a bit of what life has been like for us.

Overall we are doing well. Miriam is adjusting well to Simon. The initial love of holding him has worn off, but she still wants to check on him all the time. Simon is eating and sleeping well. We are hoping to get rid of the biliblanket very soon. He has been on it since Tuesday. It has been frustrating having to go see the doctor everyday. We go back to the pediatrician on Monday and are hoping for some good news. As of today he is already back up to 9 pounds after having lost a little over a pound in the hospital. We feel like he is doing well. We are trying to enjoy all the time together at home.

Made it Home

We made it home from the hospital this afternoon. Both kids are sleeping so I thought I would quickly post a couple of pictures before I head off to bed myself.

Simon Crane Bishop

Our little bundle of joy was born Friday April 8, 2011 at 8:03 pm. He weighed in at 9 pounds 12 ounces. He was 20 1/2 inches long. He is a big boy. We are so excited that he is here. Mom and baby are doing well.
