Mother's Day

We had a great day together as a family.
I am so glad that Mother's Day is on a Sunday.
I love attending church and celebrating women with my three favorite people.
I am so blessed to be a mother.

Happy Mother's Day to the wonderful women in our family!
(A special thanks to Michael's parents for a wonderful dinner)

I Love My Kids

Instead of coming up with clever posts for the rest of the pictures, I thought I would just state the obvious... my kids are cuter than your kids and I have proof... in no particular order...

Enjoying each moment

I received an amazing compliment from a friend (yes, you know who you are). She told me that she likes reading my blog and seeing how much I am enjoying being a mother to my young children.

Thanks for the compliment, I try not to take a single day for granted. Sometimes it is hard work, but at the end of the day it is always worth it. I really do enjoy my job. They won't be little forever. Soon I will be a mother of school aged children, then a mother to teenagers (yikes!); but for now I will continue trying to enjoy my children as they are. No wishing for time to pass here.

The holiday rush is over

Now that we have some down time at home, the kids and I have just been hanging out. I feel like I had so much to blog about there for a while. Lately we have just been doing the regular day to day stuff. By why can't that be blog worthy?

(notice how I actually got them both to look at the same time... miracle)

Being a mom is absolutely the best. I have such a great time staying home with my kids. I feel so blessed to have a husband that works so hard to make this possible. I feel like I am living the dream.

11/11/11

In honor of this momentous day I decided to show you 111,111 pictures of my family. Too much? Alright, why don't I just show you some pictures from the first part of November.

Last Saturday we headed out for another day at the farm. It was pretty chilly, but the kids didn't seem to mind too much. I love that it is free so we never feel like we have to stay too long. Just enough to make Miriam happy. She loves to see the animals. Poor Simon just stayed bundled up in the stroller.

While Michael was out of town I was able to have the car so I could actually take the kids to the park. I feel sad that we have to get in the car to go to a good park, but that is just the way it is. Can you tell how much my kids love the swings?

On the days we aren't able to get out I enjoy staying at home playing with the kids. I sure love being a mom. The joys and rewards are endless (even if I go a little crazy sometimes).
